Asusu has been releasing music since 2008, initially contributing to the vibrant dubstep scene in Bristol before shifting his focus to a new form of techno influenced by the UK's soundsystem culture. In 2011, he joined the ranks of Livity Sound, releasing a series of records that reconfigured British dance music and earned them accolades from Resident Advisor, The Wire and Pitchfork. As well as Livity Sound his music has been released on Timedance, Dial, Will & Ink and his own label Impasse. He has appeared on Boiler Room, Dommune, Red Bull Music Academy and BBC Radio 1, as well as touring the US, Europe and Japan. He has also recorded mixes for Rinse FM, Mixmag and London club Fabric.
