Midori Hirano, a Berlin based composer, who is one of the best creative partners for us JKD, returned to Japan for the first time in 2.5 years. We held a quick interview at JKD studio the other day and she talked to us about her daily lives and music scenes in Berlin and her activities and future.

Here’s JKD's new mix by Midori Hirano a.k.a. Mimicof, based in Berlin. Amazing opening, starting off with a deep drum kick (around 2:49) and gradually pacing down to the next. The body is pretty reflective, a bit dark in a way, but the beautiful sound tonality and structure lead you till the end. It’s a great mix for considering when facing yourself.
